Jerez de la Frontera (Spain)/Chennai, October 2, 2025: Teruel-based Gaman Racing Global Service today announced a landmark moment for Indian motorsport as Kavin Quintal prepares to make his Superbike debut in the second round of the Copa de España de Velocidad (Spanish Cup of Speed), one of Spain’s premier road racing series.
The event at the Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto from October 3 to 5, will see Quintal line up as a wildcard entry with the BMW EasyRace team, riding a BMW M1000RR. The collaboration of BMW ] EasyRace and Gaman Racing Global Service, came as a big opening and a significant step in the 19 year-old’s international racing career.
Born on May 11, 2005 in Chennai, Quintal, who currently competes in the Asia Road Racing Championship (AP250 class) with Honda Racing India, already holds a string of firsts to his name. In 2024, he became the first Indian rider to compete in the World Superbike Championship, making his debut in the Supersport 300 class at Most, Czech Republic.
The same year, he also raced in the Stock category of the FIM JuniorGP World Championship.
Earlier, he clinched the Indian title in the Honda India Talent Cup NSF 250R in 2021 and delivered strong results in the Asia Talent Cup.
“Racing in Spain provides Kavin a global platform to showcase his talent on the world stage. We believe this could be a turning point in his journey toward elite status in international motorcycle racing,” said his father Calvin Quintal.
