Chennai, August 28: The IAME Series India 2026 season finale is set to take place at the Madras International Karting Arena (MIKA), Sriperumbudur, near here in a spectacular first for Indian karting. The fifth and final round of the Series will be conducted under lights which will provide a fitting and unique setting.

In a landmark initiative, the season finale will see competitors take to the track after sunset, bringing a completely new dimension to competitive karting in India. The unique night racing format is the first of its kind in India.

The IAME Series India is promoted by RA Motorsports and organised by the Madras Motor Sports Club (MMSC) under its Vice-President Vicky Chandhok’s guidance. MIKA is embracing the challenge of hosting a night racing event and is working towards ensuring the highest standards of safety and race operations for all competitors, teams and officials.

With the season coming down to its final showdown, all eyes will be on the title contenders across the four categories.

The Championship leaders in their respective classes are:

Mini Under-10: Aaruthan Prabhu (Kumaraburam, Kartkrew Motorsports)

Mini: Shiv Neel (Coimbatore, NKRA by KKM)

Junior X30: Rehan Khan Rasheed (Chennai, Momentum Motorsports)

Senior X30: Kairav Roberson (Chennai, MSPORT)

A TICKET TO ASIA FINALS IN MACAU

The stakes are high, with the winner of each class earning the opportunity to represent India at the IAME Asia Finals in Macau, scheduled for11–13 December 2026.

For the four class winners, the Season Finale will therefore be more than the culmination of the IAME Series India overall winner. It will be the beginning of their international journey as they carry the Indian flag on to the Asian karting stage.

A total of 30 competitors will contest the final round with championship positions set to be decided in what promises to be a dramatic final round.

The decision to race under lights marks a significant milestone for Indian karting. The combination of floodlit racing, championship pressure and the unique atmosphere of a night race is expected to deliver an extraordinary spectacle.
