Spread the love for motorsports

This year the FIA has launched new championships using the ‘Arrive and Drive’ format to increase the accessibility and participation in FIA Karting. The 2026 FIA Karting Arrive & Drive Continental Championships form part of this global structure and act as qualifying championships for the 2026 FIA Karting Arrive & Drive World Cup later in the season.

The 2026 Asia-Pacific Championship will comprise of three rounds (Macao, China, India).

The top junior and senior finishers of the championships will qualify for the 2026 FIA Karting Arrive and Drive World Cup and therefore a chance to secure a position in the prestigious FIA Karting Shootout.

Under the Arrive and Drive format each competitor races using standardised karts. For the Asia-Pacific Championships this equipment is confirmed as Kosmic Mercury karts with Vortex SV engines, provided by OTK Group and Vega tyres. This format reduces competitor costs and maintains focus on driver skill and ability throughout the championship.

The championships will feature a Junior (12-14) and Senior (14-18 category) with entries now open for individual driver entry without the need for ASN nomination. Drivers under 18 must be entered by a competitor who must be the father, mother or legal guardian and must hold an appropriate international competitor licence. Entries for each championship will be on a first come first served basis with a maximum capacity of 56 junior drivers and 56 senior drivers in Asia-Pacific.
