Blueband Sports, the promoter for FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship for Cars have announced the Tentative Calendar for the year 2026-27. You may remember that the motorsporting season was changed from Calendar Year to Accounting Year i.e. from 01st April to 31st March, to coincide with the budgetary requirements of Indian Companies.
The final round of the 2025 INRC, Rally of Maharashtra, is scheduled between 27 February 2026 and 1st March 2026 at Nashik, which is a tarmac rally.
Now the tentative Calendar for 2026-27 INRC has been announced. It starts with the iconic South India Rally at Chennai which is at its 49th edition from 17-19 April 2026, which is also a round of FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship. 6 Rounds are scheduled and the Calendar also has a two reserve dates of 18-20 Sep 2026 and 26-28 Feb 2027. For the first time, a round in Indore was held in January 2026. Will there be a surprise this year too. We will have to wait and watch.
